We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Animator to join our creative team. As an Animator at our company, you will have the opportunity to bring characters, objects, and ideas to life through captivating animations. If you have a passion for storytelling, strong artistic skills, and proficiency in animation software, we would love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, concepts, and visual style
  • Create storyboards and animatics to visualize the animation sequence and overall narrative flow
  • Design and create 2D or 3D character animations, special effects, and environments
  • Rig characters and assets for animation, ensuring optimal movement and articulation
  • Apply timing, spacing, and weight principles to create smooth and realistic animations
  • Incorporate sound, music, and voiceovers into animations to enhance the storytelling experience
  • Collaborate with other animators, artists, and designers to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in the final product
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to continually improve animation skills and adopt innovative approaches

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as an Animator, demonstrating proficiency in 2D or 3D animation techniques
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of animated projects, including character animations, motion graphics, or visual effects
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, anticipation, and squash and stretch
  • Strong artistic skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and engaging animations
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for character performance, facial expressions, and movement dynamics
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, receiving and providing feedback, and incorporating revisions into animations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments
  • A degree in animation, film production, or a related field is preferred but not required, as practical experience and a strong portfolio are highly valued
